Believe in the vines. Have faith in tradition. Imagine possibilities. Love what you do.

Based in McMinnville, Oregon, Goodfellow Family Cellars is operated by Marcus Goodfellow and Gaironn Poole. Combining 27 years of experience with Oregon wine and core family values of honesty, passion, and connection, they are the foundation of Goodfellow Family Cellars. Our focus is on terroir, expressed through old vines, carefully grown, and traditional winemaking to craft single vineyard designate wines that are transparent, age-worthy reflections of grape, time, and place.

Producing small-lot wines from non-irrigated, distinctive, consciously farmed sites in the Willamette Valley gives us the pride of crafting the unique. To that end we are lucky to work with amazing people who share our vision as farmers to grow fruit that best captures the singular nature of each site. The relationships we are blessed with push us to dig deep and imagine, not only for our wines and for our family, but the honor we have to be a producer the community of wineries making Oregon wines.

Thank you for supporting Goodfellow Family Cellars and for believing in Oregon with us. We welcome you to join us at our winery and tasting room in McMinnville, so that we may share our livelihood with you.

Philosophy

Winemaking is like tango; the lead is the vineyard and we grasp close and slip into its rhythms, matching our movements to the movements of soil, vine, and fruit.

The treasure of Oregon wine is rooted in the soil and we are grateful for the old, non-irrigated vines we work with. Listening, we are finding that even though the seasons change there is a consistent voice in each vine. Our philosophy is to translate these voices into wine, so that you may see, hear and feel these beautiful, unique places.
